First off, I have a 2010 GT with an automatic transmission. I noticed yesterday that after a cold start, the transmission would make an odd whine/grind when putting it into reverse. This would be followed by a grinding sound coming from the rear end. Does anyone have any idea what this is? I'll be making an appointment with Ford as soon as I have time. Thanks

First I have heard about that issue. Any chance your low on fluid in trans or rear end?
