Are your coils black or brown?

if black then you have the annoying style that might break if you don't follow the tsb
if brown then you have the more conventional style

the old style is used on 05-early 08 and the other is on late 08-10

Agree with the above referenced posts. I remember watching a video on line about the removal process of the two piece plugs and watched before I changed mine. I sprayed anti-seize solvent on the plugs, (don't remeber the brand), used a fixed ratchet head with variuos extensions to remove them. The video instructions were loosen then re-tighten a quarter turn upon removal to break up any deposits. I did'nt break off any plugs and guess I would have required a tap/die set if that happened.
I used the Autolite plugs, but found out some people use a 1 piece plug, (Brisk).
I have an M90 S/C, CAI and tune and gapped the plugs at 0.32. The gapping tool was another expense incurred.
My friend has the same heads and plugs and he says he changes them every 15-20K miles. Mine were changed at 15K.

I used E3 3.70 plugs (its another once piece plug)

but as the OP hasn't said if he has black or brown coils and its an 08 he might not have the 2 piece plugs but then again be might

Ouch

Run the correct Octane gas (ie if you're tuned for 93 use 93 but if bone stock use 87, add a fuel system cleaner and maybe run some seafoam)
ok before you even start read the TSB (I'll see if I can find it again)
next buy the tool (linked below, its made just for these 2 piece plugs)

http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-LIS65600...=5336075430-20

then get some anti-seize
and ether penatrating oil or carb cleaner (or the carb cleaner thats listed in the TSB)

as for the part for the plug you need to think of the following
do you want a 1 piece plug that will prevent the need of the tool in the future?
if you do then your options are slim, E3, Champion, and brisk

if you're willing to use a 2piece plug then Autolight HT1's or the motocraft part

be ready to pray to your deity because it'll be scary
and don't forget to curse the crazy person who thought a 2 piece plug was a good idea

I think that is a little exaggerated.
