Those vortech kits are good and a lot of members run them. Its cheap cause it is a popular kit that has been out for a long time. Also, they are cheaper then the positive displacement superchargers cause there is just a lot less to them.

That system is non intercooled. For you in washington not really an issue unless you plan to run it really hard for very long. The intercoolers cool down the intake air, making more power. Not needed, nice to have, but the good thing with that kit is its uprgardable to the high output intercooled kit, if a few years from now you decide you want to bolt on some more power.

Price to install you really need to check with some local shops, I have seen quotes on here that people get from there local shops ranging from $600 to $2000. That system really is pretty simple though, you can probably do it yourself in a weekend if your good with directions. A shop should have it done in one day.

If you get a supercharger, your next mods are kinda depending the track you want to take.

If you want it to sound as fast as it is, exhaust. Will free up some power with some headers and a high flow X.

If you want it to be a sleeper. Throw on some fatter rims with some decent tires and do some basic suspension mods. Lower control arms and subframe connectors go a very long way, are not that expensive, and will really let you put that power to the ground.

Default super charge

so now that im actually considering superchargeing could i get a supercharge the whole job installed for 6k-7k

i would consider that if i put down like 450-500 rwhp

i do not know anything about superchargers so dont laugh at me like im a fool but if you want its ok.

i need todo a lot more reading about superchargers

would my 2008 gt be abel to handel that much hp. if so then what is the max amount of hp or rwhp that my car can handel.

400-450 RWHP is common with those kits. You have to remember the numbers your talking before are not really RWHP. your GT is rated at 300 hp at the flywheel. RWHP your gonna be a lot closer to like 260-280. Those kits I belive advertise 150hp gain.

For the 6-7k you should be able to have the whole thing done. 4K for the kit, 1k is resonable for a install.

... with the balance of the cash going to suspension and rubber so you can hook-up.

agreed. upper and lower control arms, rims of your choosing and some good tires. A common combination is 18 x 9 in the front with 255 tires, and 18 x 10 in the back with 285 -305 tires.
