Are you getting the code for the cam shaft sensor being bad? If so you may actually have a bad alernator. The bad cam position sensor is a symptom of a bad alternator. Just a thought.

My Ford dealers sucks. They said it was an intermittent code for the cam shaft sensor. Then they said they couldn't do anything because it has a roush blower on it. So I'm trying to figure out if it's something I can just replace myself. Thanks for the replies.

There are two, one on each side front of the engine. Just look below the valve covers.

It could very well be your alternator. I'm just waiting for mine to fail.

It's your alternate. Probably CEL P0340?

..most likely P0340 as mentioned...and we all know it's the alternator, nothing to do with the blower.

That's the code and after doing some searching, looks like the only alternative for the a new alternator is the stock one for a '10 stang. That sucks, was hoping to get a chrome one to dress up the engine bay

Get the PA performance alternator from AM. I went through two FOMOCO alternators before wising up. That badboy has a lifetime warranty as long as you buy the power wire with it.

Alternator: http://www.americanmuscle.com/130amp...or-0509gt.html

Power Wire: http://www.americanmuscle.com/powerwire-0509.html

Nevermind. It looks like those links are for 05-08. What changed in 09-10?
