CAI Feedback
I am looking for a CAI but not sure which ones perform better. Anyone know how BBK is? Ive never heard of them and wondered if their worth putting in my 2006 GT. Im leaning towards an Airaid, plus they look slick. Feedback would be great, thanks guys.
The tune is the most important thing of the whole intake system. That being said, I love the design and best in class real world (1/4 ET, passing, and MAF voltage) performance gains from the WMS High Velocity system.
As far as which one performs better, they all claim similiar numbers, like the other guys said "It's all in the tune".
Personally I liked the JLT series 3 I had attached to the Saleen SC the best (looks anyway), plus it is massive, probably a little much for a completely stock motor to take full advantage of, but it would kickass I bet with some cams.

Pick whichever CAI looks good to your eyes and wallet; they're all equivalent in performance. The tune is about 75-80% of the power gainer of the CAI & tune combo.
Let me tell you why:
- 25-35 HP, 20-30 ft/lbs TQ gains to the rear wheels
- Velocity-stack MAF housing smooths incoming air giving a better quality reading for the MAF sensor
- High-flow lifetime air filter
- Heatshield seals against the hood liner to keep hot air out (using CAD data from Ford)
- Made in the USA
- Lifetime Warranty
One note, our CAI does require a tune. That's due to using a larger MAF housing and flowing more air.
And plus we've got a kit with black hoses now
