Unhappy I need Help! please!

So, I just installed my new MMR stage I ported heads in my '01 Saleen, and I think I might need to change the fuel ingectors because the car feels weird...it feels like it wants to stall when I put it in 1st gear and kinda hesitates when I give it some gas. Im thinking I need more fuel but Im not 100% sure. Any suggestions? thanks.

Did you have the tune updated for the porting?

No, the tune was done before I replaced the heads. I probably need to take it to get it tuned, do you think that's all it needs? or is it a fuel problem?

The car needs to be tuned. Depending on the job done, you are getting x-amount more air in through out the entire range. Porting can also effect valve lift and if you haven't tuned for it your car is getting a different amount of air than it expects. I wouldn't drive it much until you get a tune for it, either email or on a dyno. May end up burning the valves.

Thanks JCON for the info. I have a hand held tuner from Bama tuning which I used but I didnt get any results, do you think I have to upgrade the injectors and fuel rail and tune it? Or tune it at the dyno place would do the job? Thanks.

Need to get it in the hands of a tuner and see what is going on. It's possible you simply have a vacuum leak, but whatever the case is, you're going to need someone to tune for more airflow. They'll also be able to tell you if you've maxed out the flow of your current injectors.

OK, so I took my car to CarbConn in Kirkland, WA and they tunned it up and it runs alot better but still feels like is missing power... heck, I had way more power before I swaped the stock heads to the MMR's which they were supposed to give me around 35-40HP more. The Dyno shows that I only have 200.78 HP and 248 TQ it does'nt make any sence because when I bought it was bone stock and it was making around 275-290. Am I doing something wrong? anyone knows why the loss in power?
