Question about E-85
I'm thinking about converting to E-85, just wondering if you are happy after doing this or wish you hadn't done it. Have you had any problems with anything failing after doing it .Also can you switch from E-85 to 93, if you have two different tunes. Has anyone done this ?

I personally wouldn't since the Mustang is not an a certified FFV (Flexible Fuel Vehicle) but do what you will with the info from the link. I think the fact that if you put E85 in a car that is not a certified FFV that the manufaucturer won't cover damage under warranty says it all.

My friend has a Saturn Ion that he converted to e85. Only thing he had to do was bigger injectors and a tune, also went with a smaller pulley making 18 lbs. And yes, he beat my car from a roll. I'm hopeful with longtubes, but we'll see.
He runs no fuel additives. I'm sure there's a good amount that has to be considered when running e85, but just do some research or call up a local performance shop.
Judging by OP's signature he's not worrying about "warranty" and isn't looking to switch to it like a flex fuel vehicle, but rather performance.....e85 has an octane similar to race gas. Smells good too.

random input: my only experience with e85 is for the turbo 4 banger guys - a friend with an evo 9 made 430whp on e85 and retuned to get back onto pump gas and makes around 385whp now ..
e85 is inconvenient for a lot of locations - there's not a ton of stations for most areas, and you go through it quicker. it can make some power, though.
