What's a warranty... Seriously u should not worry about your warranty for a handheld tuner. Oh and if u set it back to stock the dealer will know bc of your inboard computer. I can assure you most here mod right away especially an 08. Just go through brenspeed to AM and u will be in good hands

What type of CAI do you have?

If the CAI is (non tune required), before going to Ford dealership, you can change the custom tune back to stock tune.

With the 2005-2010, you can tune it and return to stock when going to the dealer and they can't tell anything other than a recent reset which looks no different to them than disconnecting the battery.
How much warranty do you have? I can understand wanting to keep the warranty for a bit after buying a used car for peace of mind, but the mods still beckon.

It's covered as long as the mod didn't play a part in the failure. Warranty coverage is for the car that Ford built, not for the car that you built after.

Do exhaust first. Start with axlebacks since it's cheapest (depending what you get) and easy. For clean and mildly loud sound I recommend Flowmaster Hushpowers. I had them with my LT headers and it was great. I swapped those out yesterday though for Corsa Xtremes, which are very loud and have a raspy tone after 3300rpms about.

Then get an extra hand and drop in LT headers with a matching shorty midpipe.
