Default Dougs Headers

I always hear/see people running the Pypes, Kooks, JBA, etc, but has anyone ever ran the Doug's Headers LTs on their 3V? Good, bad, otherwise?

I haven't even heard of them. I run MAC on mine and love them!

This article and the price is what sold me on mine: http://www.mustangandfords.com/how-t...s/viewall.html

Doug's Headers has been in business forever. Jegs carries them. They're known for high quality in general I guess. A seller on eBay has an awesome price on them and the matching x pipe is really the only reason I ask about them here

Doug's has been around for a long time, and were always quality pieces from what I understand. I saw the ones you mention on eBay, looks like a smoking deal. I'd be curious to see how they turn out for you!

Yeah it'd end up been just under $600 for LTs and. An x pipe. Extensions and gaskets included. Shipped.

I saw those on ebay, looked at them but ultimately went with JBA.

At the time when I looked at them though (last year), I couldn't find any matching midpipe.

Are they plain or ceramic for that price?

I asked the seller a while ago if and when they'd get the matching pipe and just looked the other day and there it was. And cheap!

Headers are ceramic. He's had them for a while with like four left. If I didn't have some house stuff to do ATM, I'd be all over it. I just hope he'll have some left in May.

Are they on ebay? I bet they're the same lot I was looking at way back then!

The headers were a good deal, but shipping to my area was kind of a deal breaker because it was high (like $70-80). They were coming from the west coast, that's why.

Yup! But the pipe has free shipping and the headers are 50 something bucks from CA to WI.

They are indeed coated, and shipping was something like $50 to my door. If I had the cash I'd be all over it. They pop up from time to time, hopefully they are around when the funds are flowing a bit better.

EDIT: I should mention that I've seen both coated and plain for sale, just read the description closely or contact seller before pulling the trigger.
