Short throw shifters
Have any members seen the short throw shifter, Blu Thunder Shifter, Part # 3002-100UPR sold by Sinstermustang.com...I am going to install a Hurst Competition Plus Billet in my 09...but came across the Blu Thunder above which carries a lifetime warranty.
To me it looks like a "clone" of the Hurst except for the handle and ****, and it said it's made in the U.S.A.
Can anyone shed some light on this...Thanks in advance...P51Ford

I'm just plumb tickled with the Hurst Billet in our '08 GT. I did fab my own extension that both raised the shift lever and angled it rearwards a hair (so no more hitting my elbow against console lid edge). I know some love the MGW and I played with one in a customers GT when opportunity arose (customer was there) and I'm still pleased with my choice.
I did cure the slight rattle with a dab of silicone inside the ball before install and I greased the ball fulcrum well with moly type bearing grease and covered with a sheet of plastic under the boot.

Still loving my MGW and I was one of the first to have.
like 7-8 years ago? Beta group buy.
they had come out with a new bushings for it shortly after, but I never upgraded. Well 7 or so years later, it was getting harder to shift.
Emailed George there, sent me the new bushings and block, no charge.
Changed them out in a few minutes, back to soft as butter shifts!!
Quality, and customer service top notch!
