check for loose connections at the headlight grounds and switch, most likely the jolt of the shift s causing the loose connection to go open

So i just changed the headlight bulbs and they are working now. Something had to cause both high beam lights to blow out at the same time I can't seem to figure out what it is tho.

Sounds like a possible cabling issue. Maybe a gunked up or loose connector.
