Champion, 7989 is what I used. I replaced mine years ago. No problem with the Champs.

I have been driving with the #7989 Champions for over 100K miles. No problems. Don't have to worry about that sickening "snap".

I just swapped my supercharged motorcraft H20's last weekend. They had been in the car for 5 years. I was nervous even though I had installed them with some nickel antiseize but they all came out fine.

I also installed Champions 3 years ago. No problems at all with codes or acceleration issues and no sick feeling when I take them out. I did mine myself with no breakage. Take your time and follow the TSB.

I used the E3 one piece plugs, no issues so far.

Default Plugs

As I said, I've been happy with the Champs, but next time I might try the one piece MSD plugs.

Yep, same Champion spark plugs with 60K miles and about 6 1/2 years worth of wear, no problems and I have taken a few out randomly over time to check for wear and such.

Strange to have an '08 with the 2 piece plugs. I thought they 'fixed' the problem in late '07 but the black COP's indicates the 2 piece design I believe.

The "fix" was actually introduced in Feb or Mar 08 production. So some 08's have 2 piece and some don't.
