BBK ceramic shorty headers

Default BBK ceramic shorty headers

anyone have issues with steer shaft hitting BBK ceramic shorty headers on 2008 GT 4.6?
any help will be appreciated

I have them on my 05 GT and had no clearance issues at all. The fit was really good.

I had the issue with JBA shorties, but only when turning in one direction. I solved it by changing to the prothane bullet motor mounts which raises the engine about 1/2".

Otherwise you could dent the headers where they hit the steering shaft, but I tend to think that kind of brute force answer is less than optimal.

Frieburger did prove it has very little effect though on an episode of Hot Rod garage I think it was. But if I were to dent them I'd do it on the bench not on the car haha.
