Default power steering pump

Okay so I have a 07 mustang gt. the power steering pump keeps going out. it's not over heating because I have a cooler for it. I have changed from the stock rims they are 20 inch 275. I'm on my 6th pump. what am I doing wrong?

Probably the steering rack is bad or a line is clogged somewhere, forcing the pump to work harder. I had to replace my steering rack because the steering felt heavy and the wheel failed to return to center. When we drained the system we had to flush the oil twice to get all the sludge off the lines. reservoir mesh was clogged too.
