Default TCS and ABS dash lights

Hello everyone, hopefully someone can point me in the right place to fix the following problem, I have a 2006 GT. I started my vehicle the other day and on my dashboard both the TCS and ABS indicators were on, also the OFF is lit on the TCS pushbutton. I disconnected the battery today but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check for codes. ABS Module is empowered to even kill the engine, under certain types of failure; this happened to me. Have you driven with the indicators on? Did it run normally? My guess is, the ABS warning has caused the TCS indication to tell you Overdrive is disabled.

Without codes, guesswork. imp

Thank you Imp for your help. I have drove since the indicators have been lit. I'll go get the codes and let ya know. Thanks again and have a great day.

To conclude this thread this and hopefully may help someone down the road this is what I found. A standard hand held code scanner came up with no codes nor could it reset the ABS & TCS fault indicators. I then took it to a car lot recommended by a friend that had a scanner that could read the safety circuit. He found I had a bad speed sensor in my front driver side wheel. I'm not sure but I suppose there may be other problems that could cause the same indication, my car ran well, all I had was the ABS &TCS indicators on my dash and the TCS button stayed lit in the OFF position on the dashboard. All the best to everyone and thank you again Imp.

I have also had this on my 07 GT. however when I took it to a garage I was told the ABS sensor drivers side rear. I haven't had time to pull the tire and check it but car is fine. This happened after I was driving in snow. When I get the tire off and check the sensor I will update.
