Default Which plug insert kit

Hey everyone, Just purchased an 05 GT that has spit a plug ( #5cyl) Want to order the Cal-Van tools insert kit but want to make sure I order the correct one. Anyone done this before and know which kit it is? or if there's a better option, Apparently there some crossover between plug sizes and I want to make sure I get the right one. It's an 05 GT with the 4.6.

Thanks In Advance!

Very unusual that you blew out a plug on the 3V engine. It was a common occurrence on the 2V engines but not this one.

Have you checked the manufactuer website? https://cal-vantools.com/products/th...rt-repair-kit/

Ya, I bought the car this way. Didn't happen to me. I found the correct 3v kit and have it on order. Need to pick up a boreoscope(sp) they make a 3v kit so it must happen some... Although everything I can find does evolve around the 2v.

Thanks

FWIW, all Greek to me what you are saying. IF you are talking about the thing where the plug as broken in the hole and you can't get it out I saw a YouTube about a tool having three hash marks, or something like that being the newer model? I imagine someone here will know what I'm talking about. Sorry I can't say more, my '05 GT is still shy of a 100K and I am in no hurry to play with those plugs!

No, entirely different issue. I had this happen in an F150. The entire plug and the threads for it are blown out of the head completely. He's talking about a kit similar to helicoil, it's an insert into the stripped out spark plug hole that has new threads for the spark plug, can be done with the heads still on the vehicle.
