Default New (to me) used motor...didn't think of that...

My used 4.6 motor from LKQ for my 2005 GT arrived yesterday. I immediately noticed it was out of an automatic. Mine's the manual. Anything I need to swap out at the back of the motor other than the flywheel? Anything else different that I would need to watch for or swap out from my old motor?

Thanks
BD

You'll just need to attach a flywheel and crank pilot bearing to the automatic engine.

Is your vehicle a 2005/2006? Or a 2007+?

Sorry, I meant to ask if the motor is out of a 2007+ ...?

auto vs manual makes no difference except for what Dino Dino mentioned. A 2007+ motor may have a different wiring harness than a 2005/2006 motor.

The '07-'10 engine also has a different coolant crossover with integrated thermostat housing, and two coolant hoses instead of six.
The spark plugs and coils are also different on engines built from Dec '07 onwards, but that won't matter as long as your replacement engine has both plugs and coils attached.
