I'm interested in performance and don't really give a sh*! how "cool" or "awesome" my exhaust sounds. To me, quieter is better so the neighbors and police don't even look my way. And since I like to drive it on the street, as well as road courses and autocross, I'd prefer not have the dreaded drone. I recently read an article by Keene Bell stating their dyno tests of supercharged S197 showed very minor gains of headers versus stock exhaust manifolds, and surprisingly significant gains with axle back systems. So my question is are there dyno charts of before and after axle back installs? In this modern age of CAD, I'd hope it's possible have a relatively quiet exhaust that causes less backpressure. Anybody?

Take a long hard look at Corsa Sports. Not only do they sound and look great, their warranty is lifetime. I just had mine replaced after 100K miles. One of the few systems with zero cabin drone. If your budget can handel it, Corsa is a fantastic choice.

Default Great Debate

Long Tube Header Will running open long tube header cause damage to the engine? A lot of people say "Yes" and a lot of people say "No"

Does anyone happen to be running Borla ATAK, axle-back part # 11806 on their 2005-09 GT? I'm considering these for my 2006 GT but don't want the obnoxious or annoying cabin drone when at cruising speeds on the highway. Anyhow, I'd really appreciate any type of feedback or advice regarding the Borla ATAK # 11806 mufflers. Thanks in advance
