alright well my friend is gettin this deal on 2 stangs and he wants the convertible and hes gonna sell the hatch
im might buy the hatchback and make it nasty
im gonna offer him like 500 bucks cause its got a low end knock
but im gonna rebuild the engine and i want to make it a 331 stroker
any cheap ways on doin this one?

Oh, well in that case get a 351[8D] Stronger and you can stroke it more than a 5.0

 

Myth.

331 and 347 both still have steep rod angles. Buy the kit and have the machine work done to the block. You try to go cheap, youll end up with a cheaply running engine in the long run.

Do it right and have no problems.

 

sleeper i would have to adjust everything to fit in the 351 i think
and yea tbird that is the right way to do it buti thoughtu culd take a crank from a 351 and put it in and its a 331 of 347 stroker

 

Uhhhh No, the only thing you will need is a taller hood (if your going EFI) and maybe different headers

 

Plus the correct oil pan, intake manifold, Distributor, will need different headers, and you will need the drive train to back it up
