I dont mean this in a bad way, but you seem to have a hard time buying parts for your car that are expensive, for your own good avoid the bmw, they are fun, fast, CAN be relaible, but parts youll have to get from the dealer and they will be expensive (oil filter was $32 for me)
That was when i didnt have a job and any source for money.

Still, if you want to have fun in it and not saying abusive in a dumb way, ill say drive with "spirit" then an older bmw is going to take a lot of money to keep going, they are so much fun and you should test drive it no matter what (find a twisty road)

well to give ytou a good idea of simple bimmer mods, this place usually ha all the simple stuff in stock and are a few hours from my house (i think they have places in the states too

check what performance stuff is there

I dont plan on any big mods with it if I get it. Probly just exhaust and a CAI if anything. But damn the more I see them out on the road it makes me really want one

Now look for prices of a intake, if its a maf car, (i made mine out of an old exhaust system from a school bus (3" tubing) and 1/8" steel
