Lookin' good mg man! 2 questions. Why do you need the replacement engine and why is the exhaust manifold upside down!?

The engine was at a engine rebuilder shop. Speed shop. He said he just put together losely to prevent lost of parts. Also was in his show room. I guess looks more impressive that way. Don't worry I will put together correctly. Sleeper answered the question. What is not show is small dents in cylinder walls. I would say approx 1/8" deep. Also 2 of my 2.3 turbo heads were cracked where head gasket seals. This one showed up at a reasonable price. Got less in it that a rebuilt turbo. But I am pulling head off and look at things just in case. Was told it came out of a SVO. The intercooler is a turbocoupe. Has brown injectors. And 60 48 turbo. Block has second dipstick hole under the FP cast. Maybe that help identify it. Just curious if a SVO block.

Planning on doing leakdown test. Was on engine stand in showroom. Done put my ported lower intake. It will be a upgrade. Going to make a 3" Elbow for the turbo. So it will be 3" full exhaust. Just need time to finish.
