I'm in Orlando, Fl and wondered what is a fair price to pay for a used 2.3t engine? Are they hard to find? My 2.3 runs pretty good now but gets poor mileage. 17 mpg average on a tank.
This coming year I'm planning on going the turbo route if its not too costly. Otherwise I'll just sell it and buy a 5.0 Mustang. Any input would be appreciated.

 

What year Mustang? What's a 2.3t engine? If your talking about a 2.3L built in Lima, Oh for the Fox Mustang 79-93, get a 5.0.

 

I have a 93 convertible 4 cyl 2.3 but I want a 4 cyl turbo. I think going this route will be good for power as well as decent gas mileage. My mind is not completely made up yet but this coming year I'm going to start working on it.
