Yesterday I bought a 1988 2.3 mustang. I later found out that the dash lights do not work, neither does the map light, and the dome light? My question is what could be the possible problem of this cause. How could I fix it? Any help would be appreciated!

Check all the fuses.. Check the owner's manual for the fuses and their values. This should not be a difficult fix. Frank

 

ditto on checking fuses. dash lights are turned on by the headlight switch and dimmer switch, dome/map light is turned on via door/hatch triggers. could be simple as a bad ground or plug come undone. good luck
