Default power door locks...

alright well i've tried everything. i tested both actuators and they both work perfectly. i traced the power source back to a 20A circuit breaker next to the starter relay so i replaced that hoping that would fix it but it didn't. my window motors work great and the mirrors work too...just the dumb locks will not cooperate no matter what i do. i figure it can't be the switch cuz neither switch works...unless both switches broke?anyone have any more luck than i've had? any other ideas?

If you can find a replacement drivers side switch (loaner) try that just to be sure. It's usually the simplest things that go wrong.

Basic electricity 101. Is there power at the actuators? Get a multimeter and see. If there's no power at the actuator, start tracing it back to the power source. Once you find power, you know the problem is somewhere between that point and the actuator.

This may or may not be a shortcut. You say both switches don't work. There's only one power supply to the master switch. Take a reading there. If no power, start tracing it back. If there's power to the switch, is it coming out the otherside? If not, bad switch.

I just took mine out and use my finget to push down on the lock and pull the handle to unlock saved me alot of time and money. Don't even miss the power locks the car is small not that bad of a reach to unlock the passenger side either.

finally fixed them today! i started tracing the wire and about a foot after the circuit breaker by the starter relay the wire was corroded and split in half...a simple connection or 2 later and BAM! power door locks!
