I found....
a little turbo in my price range and I have the cash. It is used and I was wondering if I am able to convert this onto my car. w/o gettin a new exhaust manafold. I want to put it somewhere on the downtube. Would this work or would i run in to a problem. Would this turbo off of a honda work at all??

ask t bird but a t25 might work, however im sure this will involve custom manifold to work. theres a 2.3l t mani for 50 bucks on craigs list look in seattle/tacoma. the guy is in monroe, so maybe have him ship it. its worth more than 50

I wouldnt bother. Those turbos are too small. Not to mention, youll never get a carbed setup running right.

?? I wasnt just gonna try and make a **** load of boost or anything I was just gonna put one on and maybe get a little power off of it. And plus I love the sound of those spooling turbo's and wish my car was like that
Don't carb a turbo, its hard to tune, a person on another forum tried that with his V8 5.0 and everything went wrong, the heads kept lifting and he had major detonation problems
Blow through carbs are very hard to tune unless you really know what youre doing. Not to mention, youd have to run an aftermarket carb, a high volume fuel pump, a specific fuel pressure regulator, among other things.
Get your license first. Get the car rolling. Take the time to save money, and do it right. Youll look back on these days and say "what the hell was i thinking?"

What turbos would be ideal to run on a 2.3?? My Uncle owns an engine rebuild shop so getting work done won't be too big of a challenge.
I would of course try my hardest to locate a turbo block, or even whole car, but around here that is hard to come by.

But my license is already payed for and my car is drivable. I would love to just make one badass 2.3 turbo'd motor and tear up the streets with it, but for right now, I am using what ive got.
