I have two questions,


Anyone know what this is to or if it is supposed to be grounded?

Also, when the heats turnd on (I think, my brother was doing stuff, and I think he said heat), this engages and is really really loud and annoying( the best I can explaine it) and it makes it idle a little higher. Anyone know what's wrong with it or how to fix it?

 

Thats your a/c compressor, the clutch on the front is going/gone, if you dont want a/c you can have it removed or have the clutch replaced. The ground pictured at the top looks like it should be re-attached, id fix it, no idea what its for though.
