What are Good Drag Racing Shift Points using the Speedometer (my Tach isn't workin like it should)

 

what year and what tranny? oh and what rear end gears?

 

lol....... All i could tell ya its 1987 STOCK TRANNY 5 SPEED, and STOCK rear End

 

um... do you have a repair book on the car?if so look under the vin thing and it will tell you which letterin the vin is the rear end gears...

 

1st - 3.79
2nd - 2.34
3rd - 1.46
4th - 1
5th - .79

Rear end - 3.45

My Check Digit is 2,

 

iwould done that bu tim fat and lazy and dont wanna grab my book outa my room...
but the rear end gears are different... mine is the 3.45 but in my book it shows some different ones... but if thats the case...
1st= 25-28 mph
2nd= 43-48
3rd= 65-72
4th= forever till you run outa v-tec... lol

 

ok ya 5th... never really have to use unless freeway...

 

Ok Sounds Great, Thankz man....... heres another weird question.... Have u ever heard of ford's Universal Rims? my Lug holes in the Rims are Kinda Oval'd
