thank you all for the post and tech articals about cams and mods. i own an 88 lx my thing is i have a cam from an XR4TI and a ranger which is better? second when doing a cam change dosn't the cam change the fuel needs on the stock motor will me computeradapt or do i need to change that too and with what

I put a RR cam in my car, went from 88 hp - 105 hp, everything else is stock on my car but the CAI

 

the ranger is a roller cam and you shouldnt use it without the correct roller rockers.

 

The XR4Ti cam will hurt power if you use it. Use the ranger cam, especially if its a roller cam. Its a factory cam, so you dont have to worry about fuel.

no use the XR4Ti cam and send me the ranger camI'll pay the shipping and $5 for the cam. trust me man, that roller cam will make you go down to 2hp and the XR4Ti cam will make you go up to 900hp..... PM for my address.....

Use the RR, it is so much better than the XR4TI one. Its good for midrang power on the 2.3
