so i put a cold air on my car... a 3" and when i started the car it dies like right after... so if i start it and rev it alittle so it wont die it fixes its self and idles for like 5 mins and just dies... wtf? i have the stock maf and a cone filter on it... any ideas?

Adjust your idle screw a bit till it starts and stay running on its own. You might have a leak[&:]

its wierd cuz if i have the maf pluged in but it not on the intake it will run.... but nce i put the maf back on it starts to run like **** and dies....

Thats because it can't deal with the amount of air passing by it, at that fast of pace. IDK but maybe you should put the stock stuff on and see if it changes anything. If not clean the MAF

make sure the maf isnt blocked by anything, if you put your hand in front of a maf you can stall a car, so make sure theres enough room between the maf and the filter so that its getting significant air.

I know 93 lx 86 gt had one on his car before he sold it, now if only he would come in here[>:]

Also I think he used 2.5" plumping

I've seen one on here before. He had his MAF relocated to right in front of the TB though, so maybe that will work better for you.

2.5" Is for MAF and 3" is for turbo or SD cars I would hope/think:eek:
