Default leveliv - Organize your problems.

Sorry guys I just had to...

I know 92lx, hellion, and Sleeper have their own...well Sleepers is a project one but I needed one for all my random posts so they aren't sprawled all over this forum.

As you all know I am having problems with my car (duh!) I bought new plug wires and just put them on I have yet to do the TB back up and put my CAI back on. Anyways

I noticed when I was taking off the Throttle body yesterday that my EGR was not quite tight
would this have anything to do with my problem of not being able to idle? I plan on tightening it back up when I finish today. I will obviously keep you posted or else I wouldn't have made this thread...

once again I feel like a **** for copying everyone else..but it had to be done it was just a matter of time.

well I got the new plug wires in and I noticed a huge difference! Power and Idles smooth now. Good job me! I unplugged my MAF and then ran it, it ran pretty rich and spat at me once. (backfired)
so then I figured I would plug the MAF back in, so I did and I started it and it ran very well I took it for a little rip, my brakes are still shot but the motor is runnin good.

There's one booboo I made I don't know what the hell I did...but when I have the car idling in park my tach and spedometer (sp?) don't work. When I drive my sped works..but my tach doesn't.
or maybe my spedometer isn't even working? how can I tell? but hellion buddy I think it might be time to cough up that tach jk

I may still sell the car now that she runs nice. I just have to bleed the brakes (if that will solve my problem)

Tranny is still being stupid. and skipping 2nd gear. I will have to do something about that or just sell it that way. If I don't sell it I will start by buying a truck and collecting other fox parts like rear ends and crossmembers...Trannies etc. I will get some vids later on today Thanks for your help guys.

Keep plugging at it. It will finally mellow out. When building the 89t. Put trans in ,trans leak, remove, fix, leak, another trans with new seals, leaked worse, Found c-4 ,driveshaft wrong, order. I lost count of number of times the intake and valve cover has been off. What I am saying 90% of the advice I give is from experiece of bad luck that happen during the ordeal. If knew ahead of time it would happen would not touch it. But don't regret it. One problem at a time. Good luck.

well, the speedometer isn't going to work in park[8D] ur not going anywhere. as for the tach, do you have your banks hooked up in the right order. one box for one side, the other for the other side.

uhh yeah I am pretty sure I have them in order lmao the banks have 1,2,3,4 on them lmao all you have to do is match the coil to the plug lol...I didnt realize that till I got out to the car :P

My spedo works. But now I have another problem :\ Car won't start :| It does sometimes but not other times :$ Starter perhaps? I am pretty sure my connections are nice and tight.

Anyone care to give me tips on my brakes? I really have to push hard to get them to stop but I noticed when I was driving it for a bit today that it felt like my back tire was stopping but I was just going..kinda like have the ebrake on lol but I didn't I watched the tire. How do I bleed them?

You need 2 people for the job (one to push on the brakes, one to keep an eye to make sure the air bubble is out so he can shut the valve making sure no air gets in)

You press the brakes and loosen the bleeder screw close the bleeder screw and let the brake return repeat

If your engine doesn't turn over then I would try the key in the on possition and a big screw driver to manualy put power to the starter, if the engine turns over then you either have a bad starter selonoid or a bad ignition

no no, jump the solinod conection and if the car starts or turns over than that is your problem (starter and battery wire run to the solinod)

ahh I gotcha...I was fiddling with it today and it would just click when trying to start...so I wiggle the battery cables and power came back on....so I tried to turn the key to start it again..."click "

I did this about 15 times then I realized..."Why am I even bothering.." so here I am...unsatisfied once again. This is something to do with the starter right..cuz I just had my battery fully charged not that long ago..and I don't think I have any wiing that could be causing it to drain my battery.

Level, if you can wiggle your battery cables thats your problem right there. They are to lose
