That's city and highway driving. Plus, this car hasn't had a tune-up in a long time (read the numbers on the spark plug wires). That's my objective for this weekend. BTW what would be a good brand togo with for plug wires? I don't want OEM replacement wires, i want something with a little bit more juice. But, with a resonable price.

You will not gain anything from "better" plug wires.

The best plug wires for our cars are the OEM Motorcraft ones. This goes for plugs, rotor, and caps also.

I'm getting 229mi(sometimes a tad more) on 11.5 ga. That is highway and city driving. I have a bad o2 sensor and MAS....and my tranny needs some help. On average though I get 19-21mpg. When I first bought the car I was getting like 26(that was with the what looked like the factory plugs and wires). I am sure glad work pays milage.

93 lx vert auto... I get about 200 flat if I let it run almost completely out. That is highway, City and warmups (bout 20-30* in the mornings)... But I'm pretty sure the o2 sensor isbad and the timing may be off a little...

93 with 5spd and I'm getting low 20's high teens city, and high 20's low 30's on the highway.

Could probably use a tune up. The car is 100% stock.
