okay, ive been lookin at water meth and nitrous. which is gonna give me the most bang for the buck. i was thinkin meth cuz its dirt cheap and i can hook it up and just run it and not worry about it. then again nitrous is gonna give me a much bigger power boost, but its not practical to use it as much as one would use meth. i was thinking to base it off the amount of boost running instead of just wide open throttle, that way itll cool the intake charge no matter wat rpm, load etc.

I figured if i used the meth injection and ran it off the boost then i could run like 87 in my truck becuz of how the meth boosts the octane.

Also have you guys heard of using a nitrous spray bar on the intercooler? What about CO2 spray bars?
Gimme ur two cents.

I have heard of using NO2 spray bars on intercoolers, but not CO2. I have thought of water injection before (free refills, right?) but don't have the $400+ for a kit.

As for running 87 octane, I wouldn't, because the reaction where the meth mixes with fuel doesn't raise the octane all at once, the fuel entering the cylinder would be just high octane meth and low octane gas, not necessarily evenly distributed. I'd run 89 or 93 and just have less of a chance for problems.

Winter is a 50/50 mix of water and meth.

check the front, it says meth right on it!

The No2 bars don't cool the air enough to justafy the cost in my mind

Me and another guy. The one I got a 87 turbocoupe going. Had sit about 6 years. He bought a Pinto and we are researching it. The co2 Nitrous intercooler don't work good.Better to have water cooled intercooler and ice chest in passenger seat. But that is a drag race setup.
He is start. http://www.snowperformance.net/index.php

How much horsepower gains would an N/A 2.3 get from a stage 2 meth injection kit? I have to wonder if the $400+ price tag is worth the money.

10hp maximum, if that, all it does is cool the intake and boost the octane. if you were running liek 13:1 compression then thatts a diff story.
