Umm probably next week. Doubt the Merkur will last that long. If so, I'll try and pull it for you.

Just the line or the whole thing? The price for a valve is $9 plus tax.

Unmolested turbo coupe? I find it hard to believe the engine wasn't blown if the body was in decent shape. Still ,that's not a bad find at all. You should grab the rear axle if you can - 8.8 with disc breaks and it's 4-lug. If it's an auto it probably has 3.73's in it too. We got a yard around here with 2000+ cars in it. And a lemonade stand, and three rest points. It's pretty much amazing.

Good score though. I jsut found much the same, got the VAM and processor out of it. I never though about the seats though, maybe i'll go back...

I may go back for the rear end and disk brakes, If it's still there. Btw, it is a manual. I do want the disk brakes if they just swap in, especially since my drums are in sore condition.

On a seperate note, I'm turning my old seats into desk chairs (I'm too cheap to buy one). I'm not exactly doing a professional job on it, just mounting it to a board that I'm mounting to legs. I'm strange, I know, but I'm okay with it.

Haha. The axle assembly will just bolt up. It's posi'd too. It's 3/4 inch longer on each side, so I'm not sure if you could just grab the axle shafts. There is a write up on stinger performance.

Cool. Now I NEED a truck. I've been using my mom's subaru and it just isn't big enough for a rear end (or an engine if I can get one), unless I remove the axle tubes etc first. Then it'll get the nice interior dirty. Maybe I'll buy an old beater truck for part runs.

Just grab the whole rear end, you'll have to buy a porprtioning (sp) valve and convert it from 3-2 port, and you'll have to run a bigger master cylinder. Also manual has 3.55 gear in the manual

May want to grab the big vam, wire connector, and vam hose.and computer. Leave the air cleaner no one wants it. Since 5-speed has the la-3 all turbofords want. Look at label on computer. Hey Sleeper-inc do you still need those items? May want to PM him. Even if motor is bad, What they charge for a motor worth it as a rebuildable core. Headgasket is I would say 90% of failure and that is no big deal. Can rent or borrow truck from freind. Most car lots will rent a truck. Especially a older truck. Don't want to skin up a newer one.
