Default Looking at buying a 2.3T

This is in a ranger. The specs he sent me. is it built good for a DD? and what kind of power you thinking its pushing?

Built engine last spring (forged turbocoupe pistons, rods, 1035 headgasket, bearings, timing components, etc)
- Swapped in the computer, air meter, turbocharger and fuel injectors from an 88 thunderbird turbocoupe. (LA3, big VAM, Garett T3 and ford "brown top" injectors).
- Still running the distributorless ignition system from the 93 ranger.
- Fuel system is fed by a walbro 255 inline fuel pump.
- I have an innovate LM-3 wideband setup with readout on dash
- Greddy Profec-B electronic boost controller
- Greddy blowoff valve (recirculated).
- Large front mount intercooler.
- Full 2.5" exhaust from turbo outlet to rear bumper going through a Flowmaster 40 series (quiet, yet nice tone, and just enough turbo whistle).
- Hurst shifter on the M5OD trans
- 6-puck racing clutch (custom setup with Turbocoupe pressure plate and a 3.0L 6-puck racing disc)
- Rear axle is a 31 spline 8.8 with 3.73 gears, limited slip, and disc brakes.

For a DD it sounds great. As for power, it is essentially a stock TurboCoupe with some goodies.

It has the slightly more aggressive LA3, the large VAM, "big" T3, and "big" 35# injectors. Nice big fuel pump that can outrun the injectors, so good if you upgraded the injectors someday. Boost controller to bump up the boost and wideband to keep track of things. Exhaust for better boost response and a FMIC for cooler air charge.

You could run completely stock boost levels for the ~175 hp or crank up the boost to 18-20 psi for ~220 hp. Of course this varies on tune, timing, boost, octane, etc. Gears should provide some punch off the line while still allowing for pretty good mileage.
