Default 95 Computer promblem?

Hey guys, a post was made about the Sn-95...very inmformative, but now i must ask, What can i do about the computer retarding the timing at WOT, Im pretty sure i read it right and thats what it said...i thought that the timing was controlled by the distrubuter, If this is the case, and the computer does retard the timing, then the engine is defintaly gonna be a little slower, what sort of mods can i do to compensate for this Ford EEC problem, are there any other computers that i can run that will not do this?

Timing is controlled by the computer, that's why you have to remove the SPOUT connector when you calibrate initial timing....to take the computer control off-line. Going back to the A9L computers require some wiring changes, that IMO are not worth the investment in time and $$....the best way to solve that "problem" + provide for any other future upgrades would be a Tweecer........GL
