Default what else do i need

ive got about a week before my heads arrive, i was wondering what else i may need to buy so i can install these on my 83 motor with as much ease as possible. this is a list of everything that comes with the heads

You should just start tearing down your motor a day or two before you get the heads so when you get them you can just throw them on and put it back together.

You should just start tearing down your motor a day or two before you get the heads so when you get them you can just throw them on and put it back together.
I agree then you can clean/paint everything when you put it back together. Just make sure you have all the gaskets you need like the water pump, timing cover, make sure to check the timing chain and see if it needs to be replaced if stretched.

so aside from the roller rockers and hardened pushrods(and the previously mentioned gaskets), i wont need any other parts¿

I would change over your timing chain to a double roller. I would also replace your lifters. It they are stock, definatly. Make sure you follow the directions, I think if I remember correctly you have to soak them in oil before you install them.

the engine, for the most part, is stock, but its a remanufactured one, put in a year ago. were you saying to change them because the factory lifters are inadequate, or because they might have been worn out due to age¿
do i have a mechanical or hydraulic flat tappet¿¿

does the double roller timing chain run on a non roller block¿
