Default Headers

Ive got a 93 LX with cat back american thunder flows. I am installing a mac off-road h-pipe and i want to install a set of headers to finish the system. What size headers do i need and also whats a good kind to get that will increase HP as well as make it louder. Thanks

What mods have you made to the engine? Cam, heads etc. That will determine primary and secondary lenght and diameter. Any flow numbers? Dyno sheets? Most all of the headers on the market today are set up for stock engines.

I launch the car on a Transbrake at 5800 RPM (actually off an MSD Limiter to hold it at 5200) and then let it flash to 5800 on the converter. I shift at 7400 RPM, out the back door at around 7000.

stock heads don't need any more than 1-5/8 tubes.

one thing that you could do (what i am planning to do) is buy some hedman headers (or any other cheap priced, not coated headers) and get them jet-hot coated. this end up costing just about the same as the coated headers and the coating will last forever, gauranteed. some of those other coating are sh*t and only last a few k miles.
