Default front sway bar broken....is it severe?

i figured out my clunk noise is my front sway bar. on one side it came unattached from the bolt that has the green bushings on it. how severe is this problem besides the fact that my handling will be affected? is it still drivable without doing any permanant damage? thanks

it is a cheap issue to fix, and it is best to fix it. You need a set of sway bar end links

Depends on wut kind of performance u want. If u wanna do straight line racing, u wanna leave it completely off anyway. But only with skinnies up front! It's no big deal like the other guy said, get a service manual and find those parts and shizam!

If you like handling yeah I'd fix it.. If you want straight line. Take it all the way off. But to fix it is cheap, just go to the parts house and ask for sway arm links.. You'll get two and they are cheap. Under 20bux.

i drove mine for like..well, dont even know how long. i was having my wheels changed when the guy noticed it. i went to the local junk yard and got the part(front sway bar bushing) for like 2 dollars and bolted it in. i couldnt even tell it was broke.

dude mine came from the junkyard. i took it out of the car myself and there was like 20 mmustangs there. bought it from 2 dolla. most of the motors and steering racks are removed and the wheels and you can reach them easy. just take a wrench with you...youll figure out the rest.

not really sure on that one but id guess not. you can get them for less than 20 new from advances or autozone. pretty much any place like that. might have to order it though but itll be aight if you have to vwait a few days on it. its not going anywhere.
