Hey guys, what experience do you have with the clearance of a gt40 intake/spacer and a stock hood? I believe it won't fit, if not what do you all recommend for a brand of aftermarket hood? I really like the clean look of a 2.5" cowl. Thanks!

 

mine fits under my cobra r hood. the 1.5 inch so i know itll fit under the 2.5.

i think it should. maybe you can check the item description for one on a website where theyre sold. ive never heard that it wont fit.

oh he said spacer didnt he..lol. you might have a prob with stock then. i have a 1/2 inch spacer on mine with the 1.5' cowl and it fits though

 

Ive heard you can run a 3/8 spacer under a stock hood but you cant go any higher. im getting an inch spacer when I get my new hood and VC's for my car
