You will need a new manifold, new headers (Im pretty sure), distributer, and some other small things. And YES its def worth it.

I just pulled this off of the internet.

You can get pretty much 400HP out of a slightly modified
non stroked 351W. MM did an article on this not to long ago. I believe
that they used the Edelbrock Performer setup, including the aluminum heads,
cam and intake. The car dyno'd at just above 400 HP, but I don't remember
the RPM, but its wasn't all that high.

Well Im not going to be upgrading the H/C/I...Im saying is it worth getting a 351w from like 68-69 stang, change the header, the dampner, and the other part mentioned...basicly instead of rebuild my stock motor, just rebuild a stock 351 and have the stock heads ported and polished, How much Hp will a stock 351w put out over a stock 302? the stock 302 puts out 225 at fly, what will a stock 351w put out at the fly?

well i have a relative that build race motors for a living and he told me that a 351w stroked to a 418 with a good carb could dyno 400 on its own and i know they are definately worth the swap

heres a link for everything that u would need:

I'm not exactally sure about HP wise... I believe its like 25-40 horsepower more. But the torque is amazing!

Well the early 351 Windsor has decent HP and in 69 the 4V version(4 barrel carb) was rated at 300 hp. the 69 and 70 Windsor had the same heads. The torque is going to make your car a blast. But to make your install easier go junk yard hunting and get a TFI distributor out of a late 80's early 90's 351 Windsor EFI truck and then all you need is the intake to stay EFI. It would be a good idea to go with a larger mass air meter and matching injestors in 24# or larger just to feed the extra cubes. The after market shorty headers bolt right on and you just need to modifiy the H pipe.
