Default pushrods

hey guys i got a question,, i just installed a crane cam in my 90 mustang 5.0 and the lifters click like crazy. does changing a cam always involve changing to different length pushrods or are the stock rods supposed to work??? i ordered from summit racing, part number CRN-444226. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

if you using stock heads ..no....readjust the valves..hows the oil pressure? ..you didn't put any nicks in the cam bearing while you R&R'd the cam?

I am using stock heads and the oil pressure is good, i replaced cam bearings and also the rod and main bearings. new oil melling oil pump too. the stock valve train is not adjustable, i just torqued the rockers down. i cant see what the difference would be unless the cam circle was smaller on the new cam.anyhow i am planning to measure for new pushrods this weekend. i will just fix the obvious and hope it dont bite me in the *** later..
