Default Car Will Not Start

My mustang cut out on me the other night and I could not restart the car. I checked the coil pack during cranking and the car was not getting any spark. I replaced the coil pack and this was not it. I then check the plug that goes to the coil pack and got know reading while cranking the car. Note the starter is turning at full strength I am just not getting any spark from the coil pack. My guess is that it is something in the ignition, inline fuse or something. Not sure where to start if someone has dealt with this problem before please give me some hints on where to look or diagnose this issue.

1989 Mustang GT 5.0

Thanks
Pat

i'm guessing your car is a 5.0, it sounds like the ignition module went bad

if your car is clicking when your trying to crank it that means your battery has less than 9v's if that helps at all... it makes a clicking noise because the starter is slipping on the flywheel...
