Default headers, MAC/BBK?

Getting ready to purchase some headers for my 95 Mustang 5.0. Looking for some ceramic, 1 5/8" shorty headers that I can use my stock h-pipe with until I get some more money saved up in the Mustang fund. What brand does everybody recommend? I have been looking at going with either BBK or MAC. Does anybody have any recommendations? I like BBK quality in their parts, but am willing to try whatever is best.

Will equal length headers bolt directly up to the stock mid pipe? That was my next question. Thanks.

yea, the only ones that nees a different midpipe are full length. equals or regular shorties will bolt up to stock midpipe. i heard equal length flow better but i honestly like them because they look better too.

Go with the BBK ceramic shorties, iv heard alot of ppl having issues with the mac headers.

they will bolt right up to your stock h pipe

Got it! going with the BBK ceramic. Thanks for the input. I was pretty much leaning towards BBK before my post. Everything that I have purchased from BBK has been top quality equipment.
