Default light problems

a couple of weeks ago the gauge lights went and I found out it was the fuse. I changed the fuse and then it did it again. it continues to blow the fuse. I hadn't really had too much time to try to figure out where the issue was, but then suddenly the parking lights in the front and my tail lights now went out. Any ideas?

The only thing I can think of is that you have a short (2 wires crossing) It also sounds like your headlight switch could of burned out-if your tailights or your parking lights don't go on. That is what I would check for. Do your headlights work though?

The brake lights have nothing to do with the headlight switch however your headlights,of course, do.I'm still thinking you have a short in your wires but you could have a short in the switch itself thats only allowing the headlights to come on and nothing else. My opinion would be replace the switch and if your still having problems you pretty much know its in your wiring

when my switch went out, the headlights worked, but the side markers and taillights did not. but as i pushed the switch in there was a spoy where the sidemarkers and tails worked but the headlights didnt. i think youre switch is shorted out and its only about 10-15 bucks. so id just try that first, then worry about shorts in wires if that dont fix it.

I'm going to try the switch first. Where's the best place to get one? so you think the switch could have made the fuse continue to blow which shut the gauge lights off?
