idle surging
when i rev my engine to anything over 2k then let off on the gas and let it return to idle it surges up and down but doenst usually die. now i replaced my iac, redid all my vacume hosing and all the gaskets ect on the motor are brand new
when i lower the timing to about 7 at idle it gets better but i dont want to leave my timing at 7.
any ideas on where to go next?

another question. i just did a motor rebuild and build up.
trick flow heads, stage I cam, Track Heat intake, new pistions (9.5:1), timing chain (if that matters)
and i was wondering if i would have to upgrade to 24lb injectors or can i just bump up the fuel pressure and do ok?
as soon as i get the motor broken in i am taking it to the dyno and checking air fuel ratio but i dont have any other way to tell if its running lean or not

well the tps cannot twist to adjust at all. the screw holes are not elongated to allow for that.
how lean will the car be running with the 19's? bec i cant really afford the injectors and stuff right now

k ill do that. i have the FP set at 41 right now (at idle) but whenever you press on the gas it goes down to around 33-36psi which i guess is ok but i havnt had the car under a load yet. which i think will drop the fuel pressure even more.
i mean i just spend around 3k on the motor, with all the machine shop stuff and i dont really have the funds for injectors, fuel pump, and maf. i was planning on investing in those in a few months but was just wondering if it would run so lean that it could cause damage
