So how would you guys rate a standard heater core from AutoZone because I already have my dash out etc and I baught a heater core about 2 weeks ago from autozone. Like you said, it should be a job where you dont skimp out on any parts but I figured that a heater core was a heater core. Someone want to school me....
my friend had an autozone one in his car, and it went out in a year, YOUR CALL! i also replaced both hoses that go to it since they usually break when you remove them
so dont put the heat on anymore until the swap? eventhough its only a second antifreeze comes out
its only a second now, but it'll get worse, mine didnt blow up it just starting leaking out the tube in the engince compartment so i bypassed it till i got a new one
I was thinking the same but my car will be a spring car. I wont be driving it all the time during the summer since I have no AC and I wont be able to take it lol so its going to be a 40-80 degree car
Thats not bad... mine was $32 at AutoZone but I know the kid there and he gave it to me for $18 bucks. Thats pretty much why I got it... I always just thought that a heater core was a heater core..
