well force 2s and the 40 series are not the same muffler or sound...

 

^What is the diffenence sound wise between 2 and 3 chamber flows?
What is the diffence between 40 Series American thunder and force 2?

 

I loved my Flowmasters up until a couple months ago when I started hearing other things. I now LOVE SLP's.

 

40 series are the quiet mufflers

they drone at 2k and when u let off the gas they rumble pretty loud

im not sure what the force 2's sound like

 

40 SERIES ARE NOT THE QUIET ONES. THEY ARE THE 2 CHAMBERS THAT COME IN THE AMERICAN THUNDER SYSTEMS. AND THE 50 SERIES ARE THE 3 CHAMBERS THAT COME WITH THE FORCE 2 SYSTEMS. IMO THE AMERICAN THUNDER SYSTEM IS THE BEST SOUNDING CATBACK OF ANY OF THE SYSTEMS. I KNOW PEOPLE SAY THAT EVERYBODY HAS THEM BUT HEY WHY MESS WITH PERFECTION.

 

they sound quiet to me. cruising at 30mph u cant even hear em but get up to 45mph and they are rumbling louder than any fart can

they have they're high and low spots IMO
