Default 351W Crankshaft in a 302?

Alright, heres a question I have. I have a 351W crankshaft not being used because my dad and I stroked out his 351W to a 408. I want to stroke out my 88 302. And my question is that could I put the 351W crankshaftin the 302 block and buy new connecting rods and pistons? Would that work?

i think it would only work if you had a high dollar crank with smaller mains ,,like the cleveland,,,all stock blocks were 3 in mains ,,,the svo blocks for 1700.00.plus dollars,,you can get the smaller main ,they are better of high rpms..,,stock 351W crank wont work sorry...in a 302,,

ok thanks it was just an idea I came up with when I started thinking about porting out my dads 351W heads and putting them on my 302 to save money. Then I thought of using the crank to save money, but thank you for answering my question. Just throwing out ideas.
