Wax tips
I'm planning on waxing my BLACK mustang when the weather lets me. Anyone have any tips on doing so?
Also, I have a small tick that I hear only when i open it up. Sounds like an exhaust leak what do you guys think?
Thanks

Well as for your waxing, my advise is to be super careful with what you use as an applicator. As you know, black shows every single scratch you have.
I'm a detailer, and personally I don't like wax.....I guess I should say I don't like wax that has a silicone additive. But if I were you, I would get a Blue tack cloth, and a polishing cloth to do this waxing.
It's abit more work, but you might want to try polishing your car with a compound/glaze combo. Would still make your car shine, and will get rid of your small scratches to boot.
Just an opinion.

My uncle owns a detailing business and he recommended Mcguires Step 3 polish. I use it now on my black stang and it works wonders.. I HIGHLY recomend it. Make sure not to get the was in any cracks, don't wait to long to take it off... make sure its all dry.
if you want it right used a clay bar then wax
went i bought my 89 new I put 19 coats of liqud glass took the weekend water didn't even bead it just ran off...with my black truck I use a zip wax while drying and wax once a month
