I would swap them to a newer spindle since the 1979-86 V8 spindles only suport 10 inch discs, other than that, they should be fine as long as the have not been in an accident

This might sound like a very stupid question but how much better are the newer spindles (87+)

SVO had a unique spindle
1979-93 non V8 and non SVO's used the same spindle as the 1979-86 V8's
1987-93 V8's used the same spindle

they are basically the same except they can support 11 inch rotors, and not all 87-93 spindles are the same.

that is why I have 94-95 spindles on mine, does not change the track of the carand I can run 13 inch rotors

Alright this brings me to my next question. Do they make slotted rotors for our cars meaning a whole hub disc with out me having to do a conversion? I like the four lug
